No. The radio works entirely on its own. Everything runs directly from the SD card — no internet, no Bluetooth, no setup. Switch it on and listen.
Is the SD card already loaded?
Yes. The included SD card already holds 20 renowned reciters and over 2,000 recitations — ready to go, straight out of the box.
How do I charge it and how long does the battery last?
It charges via the included USB-C cable. A full charge lasts around 8–10 hours depending on use.
Can I connect headphones or a speaker?
Yes. There's a 3.5 mm headphone jack for private listening and an AUX output for external speakers or your car.
Can I add my own audio later?
Yes. Simply put your own audio files on a separate SD card and switch between the two any time. Your My Maktab library stays untouched.
